The immersion procession revelry ~ in pics

We haven't been able to capture every spontenous overflow of emotions of all ages as the immersion procession of the just concluded Durga Puja took to the streets of Parama Abasan for the first time in its history. These are just a few clippings, the rest are best preserved in memories.

Silver Jubilee Celebrations ~ A glimpse

The Grand finalle to our Silver Jubilee celebrations though beginning on Dashami culminated in the early hours of Ekadashi as residents poured into our pandal to take part in the Bisharjan parikrima that took place for the first time in the history of our puja. More than 200 residents took part in the parikrama that lasted for well over an hour enthralling people of all ages as the processsion took a zig-zag path and culminated beside our puja mandap. Our Celebrations 2008

We apologise for taking such a long time to upload the images of our puja for the year 2008. Actually the process of selecting some of the best images of last year took some time. We will be uploading a few more of such images soon. We request all of you

We are also getting ready with some videos and animation for the blogpage as a part of our preparations for this years puja celebrations, which off course is our Silver Jubilee Year, as you already know.
